I used to be a caregiver for my father before he passed away for several years. Also, I have a chance to live with my grandparents, which helped me to gain an experience of providing care for seniors as well as showing my love for them. The joy I have helping people is the main reason to be a caregiver and to be able to get a chance to remember my father. I'm a very patient person in nature, mostly tend to focus on the bright side rather than expecting worse in any situation. Hence why I always get compliments from most seniors, who I currently I take care of. Compassion is my other trait, which plays a vital role in understanding what the other person is going through. To add, I pay a very close attention to every situation and people's behavior as well, which helps me to notice when there are emotional or physical changes in an individual's life. Furthermore, most people, which includes my employees and close friends, say that I'm someone who can be reliable and trustworthy in any situation. I strongly believe that all these features are a key in a caregiving role.
