I am a naturally a compassionate and empathetic individual. My years of experiencing dealing with children and adults with severe mental health and behavior problems has taught me to have compassion and patience for others. I've spent over the last 15 years of my life caring for my elderly and or disabled loved ones as they became no longer able to care for themselves but I do so with dignity and without making them feel like they are helpless. I always have strived to make my loved ones feel as if they are in control and that I am here only to assist and their level of comfort remaining high is my goal while still being effective and making sure that they complete their activities of daily living. I am proud to say that even as most of my loved ones whom I cared for have now transitioned I gained fulfillment in knowing that I played a key role in making their last years of life meaningful and improved their quality of care.
