Hello my name is Pam and I have been a caregiver for 13 years I also am licensed in the state of Virginia. I have been doing Home health and Hospice care for 8. I went in to caregiving after I had worked for the federal service for 28 years. I always knew my calling was to be in this field but I became a mother young and then a single mother and did not go to school until my children were much older. I love being a caregiver to the elderly because I know that they receive the best care and respect and their dignity is kept until my services are no longer needed. It is such a joy to me to see the elderly that I take care of smile everyday and laugh and enjoy life. I have several great references that can be called as to those that I have taken care of whether it be their parent ,their spouse or their mother. I look forward to meeting and speaking with you as to what I can do to care of your loved one. I have had many clients with dementia, diabetes, blindness, unsteadiness. I have worked with Stoke victims and other issues that come with the aging process. I can ensure you that they will be in very caring and loving hands while you are at work or while you are just a way from them during the day or night.
