I started off being a care giver when my mother got sick. I was shown by Nurses how to care for someone that was in the last stages of their life. Later I was informed of a opening in the area of caring for those with Intellectual Disabilities in a work setting. After getting the job I remained employed with the company for 26 years. My job took me on many different rolls from Direct Personal Care Staff to being a Team Manager. I have the desire and confidence to serve others. I am a Team Player and have the ability to make decisions on my own following set guide lines to enhance the lives of others. I have had great repors with those that present Challenging Behaviors.
