I became a caregiver to provide a much needed service to the elder in my area and surrounding county's. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I like providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. Meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. My biggest personal achievement would be making the decision to go back to school. I am a student at a local community college majoring in an RN degree. I have been caregiving for 20 years and "still love what I do".
