Hi, I'm Ronald Porter, I'm 26 yrs old, I've worked as a direct care staff/caregiver for about 4/5 years, I'm also CPR/AED Certified. I love being a caregiver, I love getting to know and hearing the stories of everyone that I take care of. I also enjoy making their day, I really believe that this is my calling. A little more about me is that I'm trustworthy, dependable, and reliable, with the experience I have, you will have no worries.

I'm currently have 3 National Medical Certifications. Getting ready to graduate with a bachelor degree in sociology. I'm headed to grad school after graduation. I love taking care of individuals with physical mental or emotional disorders. I have a heart of gold and enjoy sharing my skills to help individuals that can not take care of themselves.

Becoming a caregiver always been a prioritized career choice of mine because I always was drawn to taking care of others, especially those who don't have the mobility to do for themselves. Making a difference in someone else life always always been an inspiration because I have the experience and ability to make a difference in theirs. I'm experienced with ventilators patients and I've always want to expand my knowledge in the health care field

I enjoy helping everyone especially those who need it the most! I am hard working, caring and willing to do any task that is needed to be done and have it finished to the highest potential! I enjoy getting to know each and everyone's personalities and learning their very own schedules! My goal is to make each and every client I work with comfortable and content!

My compassion for taking care of my patients, I'm disciplined, understanding, patience and a good listener. Also, my experience. With my experience as a LPN , I've always enjoyed that hands on, one on one with a patient. And seeing that my care has made a difference in a patient life. The joy of taking care of another person. I've always wanted to be a nurse every since I was a little girl, I became a LPN which I enjoyed so I can say that was one of my personal achievements.

I'm a great care giver because I enjoy taking care of the elderly. I believe in providing quality care and making their needs my priority.i currently have 17 years experience. I started volunteering at the nursing home in mobile Alabama at 15 years old.and my family also called on me to provide care to my relatives as well. I have a passion for caring for others.

A little about myself, to begin, I am a hard-working and driven individual who isn't afraid to face a challenge. I'm passionate about my work and strive to get the job done. I describe myself as an open and honest person who doesn't believe in misleading other people and tries to be fair in all I do. I do my best to be ambitious and driven. I thrive on a challenge and constantly set goals for myself, so I have something to continue to work towards. I am not comfortable with settling, as I hold myself to high standards and I am always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve greatness. Not perfection, but greatness. I have a friendly personality and enjoy getting to genuinely know others. I am genuine, and people describe me as authentic and honest. I am a hard worker and am always putting in the extra effort to achieve my goals. I am attracted to caregiving because I thrive in service for others. It's a joy and in my nature, to care for others. I love the phrase "do unto others as you would have done unto you". This is something I keep in my perspective and do my best to treat others with kindness. Something I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the fulfillment I feel from it. Helping others 'do' when they aren't able. Being 'someone' for others when they don't have anyone at times. That in itself is a beautiful blessing to be a part of. A personal achievement I am proud of is starting a small business. Starting your own company can be a life changing event for anyone brave enough to give it a go. I opened my home years ago to become a child caregiver. This was a huge step in my life as I learned more about business, leadership, communication, training skills, etc. I hope to expand my caregiver skills in other areas and look forward to opportunities to do so.

I love taking care of people , I strive to make them as comfortable as possible as if they were my own family members. I love to cook so making meals is just an extra perk for me . I'm just happy to be able to care for a loved one and give the loving care that is needed .
