I like to think as myself kind and courageous, I do anything for anybody and am very eager to always do my best in all categories! Growing up in a large family and always having someone that needed help or assistance encouraged me to become a caregiver because it gave me a feeling of joy, a feeling of being needed. I enjoy spending time with the children or adults I care after, I love to create bonding moments between us. I enjoy to meet new people and environments and learn the backstories of my clients!

I am someone who grew up seeing my family lend a hand. Growing up my parents had a foster home, so we had lots of kids going in and out and some became permanent family. I think that started my love to take care of people. Also the inevitable, you grow up and in turn, the people around you grow old too. I visited nursing homes and saw the way they were treated and it wasn't always well. I loved babies growing up as well, was the family babysitters for years, until I could get a real job of course. You know they say that some people are meant to be nurses/caregivers. Because it's not meant for everyone. I genuinely love being of use to someone, to help, to see the gratitude people give when you're helping them or just being nice in general. I think being a caregiver has taught me life lessons. Being patient, and kind, and stop to say hello, ask how someone's day was, have small talk, just be humble and a genuinely good person. I've learned time management, multitasking, just how quick you can get attached to someone you never know before, and the power of helping others!

I believe I am a great care giver, I am compassionate about caring for others, I am punctual, professional, outgoing, honest and hard working. Honestly, I decided to be a CNA when my great grandma was in a long term care unit with not very many caring nor compassionate people working for her. Just feel everyone's grandma, grandma, mom or dad should be treated and cared for, like they would expect someone to take care of their own family member! The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is the rewarding feeling you get when you help make someone's day a little better. The smile and appreciation from most is wonderful!
