I am a compassionate and caring individual. I have cared for elderly people in the past including my grandmother who had heart failure and my Father who battled cancer and passed in 2010. I understand the importance of companionship for everyone but especially for those who are ill or in recovery. I enjoy helping those in need and make it a point to help put a smile on their face as often as possible. As far as my background, For ten years I worked in a group home with individuals with various disabilities. My day consisted of taking them on day trips, dispensing medication, housekeeping, and meal preparation. I also have a bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in human services. I would describe myself as energetic, down to earth, reliable and ethical. I treat all individuals with the dignity and respect they deserve.
