I grew up as a only child with my father who was a T12 para. As long as I can remember, I've been taking care of him all by myself as a young child until the age of 14. I've was placed into a home where I could be a child. I grew up too fast, so I never got the chance. But I have learned to take care of myself and others around me. I had my first child very young and changed my whole world around. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with elders with diseases. I am a passionate, polite, selfless individual. I have been caring for elders for almost two years. I have also been caring for someone just about my whole life!

I consider my time at Maple Glen as one of my career achievements. I love all of the residents and I became The Employee of the Month in less than a year. Being a caregiver is a calling for me. I am proud to be one and I enjoy doing it! It is not an easy job but coming from a Filipino family surrounded by big hearted love ones, I carry it wherever I go, and I live up to the values my parents had taught me, which I am passing on to my daughter and son.
