Hi I'm Melissa, I'm a very outgoing person I'm also very caring considerate and respectful. I've been a caregiver on and off for the past 20 years I've worked with Developmentally disables individuals children, paraplegic quadriplegic guys and girls, and elderly from just very minor help to hospice. I've got experience in medication administrstion, transfering, I know how to follow service plans. I enjoy being a caregiver because I like to help people that can't do for themselves. I became a caregiver in 2011 I am CPR certified,I have my Nurse Delegation,Dementia &Alzheimer's, Developmental Disabilities speciality training,Mental Health ,Insulin Delegation i have all my certificates of competition. It is my passion to take care of others it has always been my dream job since I was little I wanted to become a nurse, I enjoy working with the clients of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds and have a demonstrated ability to develop great relationship with them and their families. I have been in many setting witch includes an adult family home where I cooked,cleaned,bathed,and did medication administrations along with patient adls with 6 residents to myself for 12 hours a day. Ive also worked at rehabilitation facilities,assisted living as a med tech. My favorite thing about what i do is knowing that i play a special part in someone's life who can no longer take of themselves and i get the privilege to do so and having the trust of it being all in my hands. Im very proud of myself for sticking with being a caregiver and getting all the diffrent trainings i have and experience i have gotten from it.

Hi, I wanted to give you a little info about me and what I can do to help you or a loved one. I am very compassionate, patient, attentive, and reliable. I enjoy working with elderly patients. I helped take care of my parents and parents in law until their deaths. I have also helped many other over the years with everything from cooking, cleaning, transportation to appointments and grocery shopping. Toileting, assisting with mobility, bathing, medicatiom reminders, and more. I like to take the time to get to know my elders and to understand what they like, dislike, and to make life as comfortable for them as I am able. I understand that some have difficulties with accepting help and will give them as much independence as is safe and allowable according to their specific limitation and needs. I am there to help not take over and to assist and protect to the best of my abilities.

I am an NAR (soon to be CNA) studying to get my RN. I currently work TH - Sat nights 9pm -7am. Looking to help someone and be there for a client a few hours a week and make a difference.

My previous patient for 5 years and 6 months was a geriatric case , patient with DM insulin dependent , hypertension and heart problem .
