I started in the Health industry because I experienced a life changing accident while playing football. I was paralyzed for an hr. due to a C-3 spine injury. After all the care I went through I understood how important it was to have positive energy around you I've always been that person and I wanted to help others in that have experienced similar situations as me. I got certified as CNA in 2003. Primary care for a quadriplegic. This includes bathing, clothing, prepping meals, administering meds and transportation to a variety of health care appointments. Familiar with high-pressure medical environments. I've been a helper, solver, and the last resort of difficult decisions. Being the prime caregiver of quadriplegic takes compassion, people skills, the ability to adapt as a team player while making health care decisions to best support patient needs. Making decisions for the health of a disabled human is nothing to take lightly.
