I am a very diligent and compassionate caregiver. I am extremely dependable and trustworthy. I have taken care of many families in the two years that I have officially worked as a caregiver, however, I like to say I have been a care giver for most of my life. I took care of my grandmother who suffered from Alzheimers for eight years. Taking care of her helped me realize the importance of companionship, respect, compassion and patience to not only my patients but to everyone. These are the traits and values I use everyday to help the people I care for have a great quality of life. I have worked with many different patients ranging from patients who need full assistance to patients who need minimal assistance. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the connection and the rapport I make with the patients and families I work with.
