I have 20 years experience in healthcare from nursing homes to top hospitals such as north shore alexian brothers and northwest community to name a few. I started out 22 Years as a housekeeper in a private nursing home in Wilmette Illinois. I was always assisting the nurse aids in the rooms . The nurses/ nurse aids were always so overwhelm, I often pitched in to assist with simple things such as picking out an outfit or brushing hair putting a shoe on finding something that had been misplaced . I developed a great Rapport with so many of the seniors that I was told one day you're such a natural you should go to school so that you can work here with us. I did and never once regretted my decision. I love what I do and find it at times challenging butWhat in life is not I feel the joy in bringing joy to other people's life and the joy they bring me in there appreciating how well I take care of them or there loved ones who many times can't. I have worked in many different fields in the healthcare one is because I never wanted to become burn out so as to no longer be empathic to my patients and two to have more experience to better help wide range of patients
