Passionate caregivers always look for ways to improve the lives of those they work with. Compassion or empathy is the ability to put yourself in the shoes of someone else and that's just why I do. I try to focus on the positive in every situation life throws at me. Having an Associates degree in Substance abuse counseling, allows me to help others because I believe that is my purpose here on earth. God has truly blessed me to be allow you grasps the knowledge and skill set throughout this thing we call life. I have over fifteen years of experience in caregiver but to be honest I have been a caregiver since I was eight years. My mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when I was just a child. I willingly gave up my childhood to ensure my mother was cared for to the best of my ability. Being her companion as a daughter and a caregiver really gave me joy and allowed me to recognize my purpose at a young age. I love what I do and I take proud in helping those in need. I guess the main question would be why should I be a good candidate for the position offered. Well I believe I am one of the best caregivers only because I have dedicated my entire life to improving and enjoying caring for others. This has allowed me to be the woman I am today. So if asked should you hire me, my answer would be yes, just a simple yes
