Having been a Care giver for 9+ years I still do not look at it as being a job. I have had experience in all areas of Care giving. CPR/First Aid trained. Held a Cosmetology license since 1989. Have experience in all areas of care from companionship to ALS, Parkinson's and Dementia. If your loved ones hair or nails needs cared for I can also help in that area. Have cared for 45 yr old to 103 yr olds. Absolutely love working with people.

Raised by my grandmother, I developed the passion of caring for the elderly at a very young age. I worked closely with my grandmother and grandaunts with their daily activities. While in high school, I applied for summer jobs as a caregiver with companies such as home instead senior center and act agency. I enjoyed being around the elderly and providing assistance with daily living. I enjoy the knowledge I gained from interacting. With them on all levels and the stories I was told about life in general. I have been blessed to be in this field for over 10 years and have applied so much of what was passed on by my clients to various areas of life. I am currently a bachelors and masters degree holder in health education and I still find myself attracted to the field of home health and working with the elderly. From 2012 to 2015 , I was blessed to work in a live-in case with a lovely lady who recently passed away in March of 2015. Working with my client for three years, I lived with her and viewed her as more than just a client. She took the role of my late grandmother and I cared for her deeply. I am very passionate about caring for the seniors and I do it with so much pride. I hope to one day open my own home Health agency.
