I am 18 years old, and have been employeed as a caregiver since before graduating High School. I have always taken care of older folks, for as long as I can remember. I helped care for my great grandmother and grandfather for many years prior to becoming an aide. I lived with my grandmother to help care for her during my high school years. I have always loved the elderly, I believe they need someone to always be there for them, and remember that they once were young and well. I believe they have a great story to tell, and they deserve someone to listen. I am currently registered in the state of Ohio as a nurses aide, and am attending college to obtain my LPN. I have medical knowledge, as well as a kind, and open heart. I truly believe I was born to be a caregiver.
