I went into healthcare right out of high school and have been in the field since. I love providing care for all ages. Its my passion. I'm currently in school to continue my education in nursing. I volunteer at my local animal control. I am very passionate about animal care and protecting them from abuse. I current foster animals to get them ready for their furever home.

It means I went far beyond my job title and helped out where I saw fit. I have also taken great care of my late cousin. She was diagnosed with lung cancer. I was there faithfully for her, physically, emotionally, mentally. Anything she needed I was there . Whether it was treatment appointments, a joy ride, just a visit or a phone call. Hello. My name is Leslie and I started as a certified nurse assistant back in 1996 primarily working in rehabilitation centers and nursing homes. I've worked in nursing homes, the emergency room at various hospitals through agencies, hospice care, and last but not least and my most favorite home health care. Working home health care allows me to slow down, take my time and focus on one client at a time right in there home environment. I've gotten to know many of my clients on a much more personal level and felt I gave more quality time doing home health. In 2004 I decided to go to school for massage therapy to add to my nursing career. Many of my past clients thoroughly enjoyed this as did I. In 2005 I further pressed on and became an LPN (licensed practional nurse). In 2007 I was the resident care coordinator at an assisted living facility and enjoyed my time there very much.
