Founder’s story Sherwin Sheik started CareLinx after his family had an extremely challenging and frustrating time finding home care for his sister with Multiple Sclerosis and uncle with ALS. At one point his sister was quadriplegic and blind, and his uncle required around the clock care. They experienced the extreme of what families encounter when trying to manage home care for loved ones. They tried working with a few local agencies but found the overall process costly, frustrating, and inefficient. Like many modern families, his mother lived a distance away from his sister, which resulted in constant back-and-forth travel to help coordinate and manage his sister's care.
