I've been a caregiver since I was 15 years old. The 1st person was my great grandmother. My Grandmother is a ARNP, MN, RN. I learned from the best. I have been certified since I was 18. I have worked in long term facilities while living in Kansas until I moved back to Florida. While here I have worked for an Agency for the last 6 years. While with them I have worked private duty, Hospice, Sitter, and now a Health Support Tech (elem. school clinic). I have been in broward county schools since Sept 2010. I worked full time at the 1st school from Jan '11 to Jun '12. During the '12-13 school year I worked as a "Floater" basically filling in for other HSTs who had to take a day off. '13-14 school year I was assigned full time to a new school closer to home. I have been there ever since. The students, staff, and parents at any school I work at are always pleased with my work and the way I handle the students (I call them my babies). So i tell them I treat them like my very own. Working in the schools is one of the most rewarding jobs I've had even though I have amazing stories and memories with my residents and patients wether in a nursing home or hospital. Just knowing I helped someone who needed it warms my heart. Seeing the smile on their face is all I need but when I hear how much they appreciate it, it makes up for all the body fluids I've had on me or the punches from combative patients.

To be able to make a positive contribution to people's lives and be a great nurse. have the ability to work under pressure and communicate with a tram and present oneself as a team lead. Most importantly have the important skills to provide the best quality centered care for my patients. Compassion, Commitment, and Trust.

I started as a caregiver since I was 10, It started out babysitting then when I got older I started taking care of elderly in a nursing home all thru high school before you had to be certified, I have never stopped being a caregiver I enjoy helping and taking care of people I have been Certified for 20 yrs now.

My compassion and Empathy is what makes me a strong care giver. I am able to put my self in the place of my client. I have been a patient myself and I have had loved ones in long term care and understand what they went through, losing your independence and having to trust in the care of others. My Mother was a Nurse for most of her life and I respect her more than anyone else on this planet ,that is what inspired me to get into nursing, I have 25 years experience in most health care settings. I am most proud of being strong, compassionate, empathetic, and technically sound and my best attribute is that I still genuinely care about the well being of others after 25 years of being a care giver.

I am a loveable person and i enjoy what i does.. I became a caregiver because this is my call in life.. What i like being an caregiver is that i enjoy helping those who need me!. The best achievement that i am of proud is being an caregiver and moving up the ladder to becoming an RN

Im a very caring out going person i love to laugh and have fun. I have a little boy and he's my world! He's taught me so much. Hes taught me patiences and helped me realize that caring for people is my calling. I find it rewarding

Hello I am a 41 year old African American women I have worked in the health care field for the past 18 years. I love caring for people I know in my heart caring for those who need help is what I was born to do. I am very compactionate about my job. I will give 100 persent doing my job.

I have been a Certified Medical Assistant for the past 8 years. My father was a veteran whom I'm was able to care for when he was terminally ill. He is the reason I joined the healthcare environment. I believe that my greatest achievement at this point, is being a single parent of two. They keep me going and make me strive harder each day. I am currently putting my oldest child through a private school so that he is awarded better opportunities than I was.

I decided to become a certified nurses aide because ever since I was a young child I've always enjoyed helping others. I love helping others so much that I have decide to further my education to nursing. I have been a Cna since 2010 but I have been careing for others since I was around the age of 13 starting with my grandmother. I'm a very careing and kind hearted person.

1. I became a Caregiver because people need someone to show compassion toward others who are ill, confused or transferring to the next life. Being a caregiver is more than just a job, it's a spiritual connection. It takes a angelic person to have the patience, compassion and love for others. Caregiving comes from the heart. It's more than just being on paper, you have to live it. I like being there for someone else who is unable to provide for themselves. It's exciting to see self sufficiency in others because it shows that they are determined to strive forward and not look back. My personal achievement is when I became an Healthcare professional. I graduated with honors in CNA school. I am in process of completing nursing school in the fall. I am a pet parent of two male Shih Tzu's, 45 years of age, single, born again Christian who loves serving God. I grew up in a household of spirit filled parents who instructed me to go after my dreams and pursue them. .

I become a caregiver because I am a caring, patient, and responsible person who likes to help people. The thing I like about being a caregiver is that I enjoy the job by making my money. you interact with patient because the patient depend on you , you are there to help him, understand what is his needs and help him achieve them. My personal achievement is always make sure that the client is satisfy by my job, and I help him to keep the smile all the time. I am a bilingual French and English mother of twins boy and girl who also have a certificate in early childhood development. They are 5 years old . In order to take good care of my family I have to work hard and take my job seriously.

Growing up I really didn't think much of what I wanted to do with my life. Well that all changed after my neighbor who was an older guy asked If I would help me with light house duties and errors to earn a little extra money. I feel in love with what I was doing and decided that I want to go for my CNA. Now 4 years later, I am still a CNA and absolutely love my job as well as everything that comes with it! I am married to a wonderful husband and a mother of 3 children. I am very loving caring and out going. I do my best to cheer my residents up when they are sad as well as try to get a good laugh in to keep me from going completely insane. I love spending one on one time being able to talk and get an understanding of everything my residents have been through. I get really attached with my residents and develop a family like relationship. I am very sure you will be very happy and content with me and the care I provide. As well as he/she will be very happy that I am someone that has a heart of pure care.

I became a caregiver when I was old enough to go to school for it because, growing up I helped my mom take care of my paralyzed grandmother. I love to work in a home based setting with one on one care. I like to provide my clients with the best care possible and to do that, I believe its best to work with one client at a time. I've been a CNA for going on 4 years and I love what I do!

I have many years as a caregiver either in hospital or in home setting. I strive to allow as much independence as my client needs; yet, am able to assist when needed. I believe my clients deserve the best care awarded them in a safe and comfortable environment that is nurturing and stimulating in growth. I am a widow who also seeks companionship of a new friend. I'm also a part-time psych major working on my Bachelors degree.
