What makes me a great caregiver is I'm very honest, outgoing, adventurous, I love to make others smile and make them feel good about themselves. The things I enjoy most about being a caregiver is to be able to know I made someone's day, I also enjoy meeting new people. My personal achievement that I'm proud of his working with elderly people and knowing I'm doing what I love the most

A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating high school and begining my journey for college.

I became a care giver to give back to my community. I enjoy caring for others because I love making people feel better as well as helping them with their daily activities. Even though I do struggle with adhd I reached a goal of getting licensed as a nursing assistant. I am very proud of myself for making my own dreams come true all on my own.

I love working with the elderly and learning about their life skills. I like to learn new things everyday. Showing compassion to someone that is in need and showing them that they are not alone. I am 20 years old I went to job corps in 2012 and receive My cna and clerical license. I am a very dedicated individual.

Making the choice to become a Certified Nursing Assistant is one of the best choices I have made. I enjoy taking care of people who need assistance with daily activities. After completing and passing the state exam, I will make sure to use my knowledge to care for a loved one with proper care.

I'm 21 years old. I was born and raised in Lancaster. I've been here my whole life. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. Back in 2017, my grandfather was diagnosed with ALS. His health went down fast. I spent my days working a full time job and still helping my grandmother take care of him. As time passed, his condition worsened. He was unable to walk, lift his arms, nothing. He lost all body strength. Although hospice stepped in, I still did everything I could to help take care of him. From feeding him to giving him a bath, I done it all. After losing him, it has pushed me to want to become a caregiver so I can help other people.

I believe I would be a great caregiver because I like to get to know people and help people. I don't want another job where I feel like I'm not providing enough or helping with anything. What attracted me to be a caregiver is having a child. I learned how to take care of someone and realized I could do that more often, everyone needs to be cared about. Where I've never been a caregiver I can't say what I enjoy most about it but, I do know I would enjoy talking and getting to know more people; hear stories and share stories. my favorite personal achievement is buying a house for my family.

I am a 23 year old female. I was born and raised in Lancaster, South Carolina. I spent a few years taking care of my grandfather while he battled with ALS. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2019. After losing my grandfather, I came to realize that helping the elderly was something that I felt like I was meant to do. To me, caregiving is an extremely rewarding job. Senior citizens have given so much to this world.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others and it brings joy to me to be able to put a smile on someone face that has a grown. I like being a caregiver because I enjoy being around elderly people I have learned a lot from them. Being around elderly people have made me the person I am today.

I became a caregiver because I truely enjoy taking care of others. I enjoy that not everday is the same. I enjoy knowing that I am making a difference in a persons life, either just by listening, or helping with daily tasks to make the day a bit easier for that person to carry on day to day. I am very proud of being trained/certified in; CNA, PCA, HHA, ABI, and companion. I am a caring, patient, dependable, hard worker. I take care of my client/Resident as if the person is a family member of mine.

I became a caregiver when I watched my grandmother go through something I never thought would happen once my grandmother got over that milestone in her life she needed extra care while at home I would help her out with a lot of different things. I started working with an organization that provides care to individauls with developmental disabilities I love working with the elderly there and that's when I went on to get my CNA licence with NY state since then I have been working in a nursing home and just being able to help someone who can not do for themselves really warms my heart and it is appricated by the individuals. I want to work in this field forever. I will be attending school to become a LPN and later on hopefully an RN

I'm a great caregiver because I meet the requirements of a caregiver. I like doing this because it lets me know that I can help the elderly with their everyday essentials,ADLs. I Choose this as my career because I like helping others

Ive been working as a caregiver for as long as i can remember ! I've helped my family when needed and also work experience. Being a caregiver is more than a job , you build connections and relationships that turn into family !

I am a great car giver because I worry more about my residents needs and wants. I love looking at the smiles that I put on their faces. Just to make the little bit of time they have left, the best. A personal achieve ment I have accomplished, would have to be spending the last year of my great grandmother's life with her each day and night. I can actually say that I love my residents and take care of them as if they are my family.

I became a caregiver because I love being a helping hand and helping people that cannot help themselves. You really make a difference in these clients lives and that's a great feeling. A personal achievement was being able to take care of my grandmother before she passed and spending a lot of time with her in her last hours. My name is Whitney Juste I am 22 years old , I went to a nursing aide class and instantly fell in love with this developing career. This field can be very rewarding.
