Having been a director at an assisted living, I have dealt with every situation that you can imagine. I have done everything from transport residents to and from Dr.'s appointments, make Dr.'s appointments, personal hygiene and bathing, dressing, etc. I remain calm in all situations as to keep things from becoming more intense than they already are. I am very good at listening and getting to know the whole person. I have work with designing activities that relate to their spiritual, social, cognitive, emotional, and physical beings. These are all things that make a healthy body and a healthy mind. I also have experience dealing with people that range from minimal assist to full assist. I have worked with Alzheimers and Dementia folks as well. So as you can see, I have the ability to deal with any situation that I am put into. I am college educated, punctual, and above all very passionate. When working with others I give 150% of my heart and dedication to them. I always and will always treat them with the same respect, dignity, and love that I would my own family. I am first aid and CPR certified, so you can be rest assured that if any situation arises, I have been trained on how to handle it. I look forward to speaking with you and meeting your loved one. I love to interact with people, I love helping others, I'm particularly found of seniors, I've always loved to be around them and to listen to their life stories and how life was at a time that I wasn't around.
