I became a caregiver because I love to help others and received a feeling of satisfaction from doing so. I like to feel that I am in some way needed and am of help to someone else. My greatest personal achievement is raising two wonderful and successful children. I am a mother of two and a grandmother of four. My son runs a successful business and is the father to a very handsome 4 year old son. My daughter is a CNA/Med Aide in Nebraska and is raising 3 beautiful daughters. Her oldest daughter is a junior at Wayne State College this year She wants to go to Creighton University in Nebraska and major in Medicine. I have worked in the medical field as a CNA/Med aide off and on for 18 years. I would prefer to work weekends. Friday and Saturday nights is my preference.

I am a great caregiver because, i am caring, loving and compassionate. I love helping people specially sick and elder persons. I came from the Philippines, 42 years old hard working, trusted and professional.

I have been in the senior industry all of my life. I have two background checks that have been done will state federal and local in the last month. I can provide those to anyone who requires it but I don't see the necessity in paying for a third background check. I'm also listed on the Family Care safety registry . My family ran and owned nursing homes. I am a dementia specialist and I just love working with seniors and helping them. I'm also a certified senior advisor as well as a certified dementia practitioner. I do a lot of caregiver training and I just love helping when I can. Sometimes it's as simple as helping someone navigate their computer or as difficult as transferring them either with a hoyer or a hard transfer I can do all in between. I love doing engagements, I love puzzles, swimming, outings. As much as I can possibly engage someone I don't sit in front of the phone in fact I don't even watch television at my house because I'm so busy and I want to help others have the best life possible. I'm also experience with end-of-life, with the wound vac, and I have a diversity of skills and knowledge including business.

1. As a little girl I always dreamed of becoming a caregiver. In 2002 my grandmother had an heart attack and stroke. I helped my mother with her cares in which I began to gain experience. 2. I have 10 younger siblings that I've helped care for since I was little so caring is in my nature. I come from a family of of nurses, and I plan to become one myself! I have extensive experience with dementia as I've mainly worked in memory care facilities and I have taken several classes on dementia patients. I have also had a family member with Alzheimer's. I've been nurse delegated with special focus on diabetes. I have a background check through the State Of Oregon. Taking care of seniors warms my hearts and honestly brings me so much happiness. To me, it is so much more then a job. I get to make their day better and help them through a possibly difficult time. I also get to have fun with them and learn things from them too!
