I love being a caregiver. I'm kind, patient and caring. I'm also responsible and dependent for my patients and residents.

I have been a caregiver for over 15 years, currently a CNA in a hospital. Also going to school for nursing. I am dependable, caring and responsible. I am committed to safeguarding the privacy, dignity, and well-being of patients while adhering to all patient care guidelines.

Well, as a caregiver, I believe my personality traits of being kind, empathetic, patient, and attentive really help me connect with and understand the needs of others. I also have expertise in providing emotional support, organizing schedules, and assisting with daily tasks. It's all about creating a safe and nurturing environment for those I care for.

I have helped many clients with all different types of issues. ie strokes. a quadriplegic, Parkinson Disease, Dementia. These clients have had all different levels of medical needs. Some more than others. I have always been very active. In the past I had been a running coach with Phoenix Fit and today I practice Bikrams yoga, Hot Pilates, Barre and hike.

I can am passionate about providing quality patient care, and being of service to others I became a caregiver because I grew up with a disabled father and saw how vital a role the various caregivers played in my fathers life. My passion and goal is to nurture and provide the same quality, compassionate care in what ever capacity i can and to further my education as a nurse I have an active Certified Nursing Assistant license and actively work in the field , as well as a Basic Life Support license

I enjoy communicating with the elderly, taking knowledge and wisdom to further my learning on agricultural history . A personal achievement that I'm proud of is graduating from high school. I have always loved to care for others . My first caregiver experience was caring for my family members. Overtime I started caring for others outside of my family. I enjoy helping others and bringing joy to others. What I enjoy most is the smile of clients face when I am with them preparing their meal, taking them shopping, watching movies, or just sitting back listening to them tell stories about their experiences. I've been attracted to caregiving ever since my grandmother passed 6 years ago. My grandmother was very sick and had to get a colostomy bag which eventually made her sepsis and she passed. Seeing her like that I automatically developed this caring heart for my elders. They took care of us when we couldn't take care of ourselves and as they get older they need that same love and effort in return. I'm here to let my elders know that I'm here to assist them in life and keep that joy and spark within them. I automatically have that nurturing heart. I'm a mother of 4 so that loving and taking care of someone just comes naturally. The part I enjoy the most about caregiving is talking to my clients hearing the stories about them in their younger days and hearing them talk about they family. I'm all about family and conversations like that just keep me so hopeful. I'm proud of the woman and mother I've become. I'm so loving and all about how I can make someone else life better. I just love loving on people and having that same love in return. World is so much better when you have people helping each other and loving on each other.

1. Why did you become a Caregiver? I love providing home care-giving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. 2. What do you like about being a Caregiver? Meeting new people and providing care giving services that they can no longer do for themselves. 3. What is a personal achievement you are proud of?
