Hello! I have over 16 years of elder care/ healthcare experience. I worked for a reputable senior living company and during my tenure there, I wore many hats including but not limited to: Dining Room shift supervisor, Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, Sales Assistant, Activity Assistant to Programming Director. I also worked for a home care agency as Operations Manager and now, I'm working with at risk families and children. I obtained a Bachelor's degree at RIC, I'm a double major in Justice Studies/Sociology. I miss working with the elderly which is the reason why I'm hoping to find someone through here that I can provide services to and/or companionship. I am not CNA nor HHA certified but I do have knowledge and have obtained skills through my former employers that I'm ready to put to use again.

1.Why DID I BECOME A CARE GIVER I believe that seniors are one of the most valuable resources, society could ever embrace. Also , my earliest job as an uncertified care giver has lead me to embrace the fact that; seniors just don't need to live ... but live a quality of life that is second to none. My fondness for seniors, my teaching experience, coupled with the vast knowledge I gain from my sisters has lead me to love and care seniors in a special way. For me its personal , starting with my grand-parents and Aunt. Those who have walked before us.... Have given so much... And so made possible.... The life we now enjoy.... 2.WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A CARE GIVER . The act of helping and facilitating others in setting goals and experiencing , the almost impossible . It gives a sense of satisfaction to know that, I ,have given comfort to another human being . Each day , despite the hurdles ,when I have done my job well ,I experience a total sense of completeness and the desire to continue helping. The experience gained and the ability to apply these to similar job situations 3 WHAT IS A PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT I AM PROUD OF My ability to get along with seniors / who I care for . The Experience gained after years of care giving I am very highly recommended by most ,f not all employers I can live with my Conscience.... BECAUSE...I did my job well and to the best of my ability 4. A

I had experienced as Home Care Aid at young age with A Personal Relative and every since then I enjoy doing my job with my new clients my goal is to help people no matter what Disabilities they have I want to help anybody who is in need .

I am honest and carry person, I have been working in this field for 13 years. I am a good listener, I care about people, I learn fast, I am a team worker, I follow instructions, and ready for work.

My personality is very easy-going. I enjoy talking with people and getting to know them. I have a lot of experience with clients who were not feeling well, and have helped them through a lot of sickness. Such as sudden on set flus or body aches. These are sudden changes that can't be that fun alone! I enjoy being with people and making them happy.
