Looking for a reliable, competent person near Sunrise and Campbell. Initially, the job may include taking out recycling, washing/folding clothes, emptying dishwasher, errands, bringing my son to an appointment, maybe light meal prep. Hours could be flexible. Might include talking to service people who have come to repair items. Might be 2 hours 3 days a week or less. My son, who is 52, is dealing with a neurological condition and must have quiet. At some point, we may need a caregiver. You must be healthy, no respiratory issues like colds, and vaccinated. Could start anytime.

We are looking for a compassionate, service-above-self oriented individual to live in my home as part of a small caregiving team to help me perform my activities of daily living on a consistent basis: I have a developmental disability, cerebral palsy. This team also includes my two friends who will be living in with me in a shared community environment. I am currently in the process of expanding my home to have 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms to accommodate them and the live-in caregiver. The live-in caregiver will also assist me with scribing duties, including but not limited to taking dictation for my emails and general correspondence. The individual will also be expected to perform basic household chores; I maintain a clean environment. We are creating a Christian community together, our faith is central to our lives. People of any faith tradition (or lack thereof) are welcome to apply, but you must have a heart of service-above-self. I offer room and board for the live-in caregiver, plus a monthly stipend ranging up to $1000 a month. Request for amount of monthly stipend will be discussed at time of interview.
