Ideal candidates have experience with PSP, Parkinson’s, or stroke patients and are calm, reliable, and compassionate. References required. ooking for a dedicated caregiver near La Quinta, CA to take care of Mother. Care is needed 3-5 days per week in the morning, or afternoon. The main work would be making sure she is eating enough food and drinking enough water. She needs meals to be prepared and ready to eat/microwave.
My mother is currently struggling with some major thyroid issues. This has caused her to become very frail and malnourished. She has issues walking sometimes. But the main concern is she needs to be checked on and supervised to make sure she’s eating and drinking. She also has two little dogs so caregiver might need to feed them sometimes.
I am looking for someone to start soon and estimate 5-10 hours per week. The caregiver will also be responsible for performing the following: companionship, meal prep, housekeeping, transportation, and transferring & mobility. Only serious applicants will be considered!
