Hello My name is Martha i live in Sacramento CA for about 36years moved to Davis CA to attend a better school.In my senior year i volunteered to work at this facilty working with the elderly AND I TRULY ENJOYED IT from that day in 95' i knew what i wanted to do.I started medical school in 97' but...found out i was pregnant i had put to put my dreams on hold.In 99' i started working at State Franchise Tax Board for 3yrs then my day my Co-worker asked'hey do you really enjoy working here i stated NO but i need to provide for my family from that day on i told myself 'do something you like to do! I can say i separted myself and found a job working with the elderly in 04' from then just worked as a caregiver for YEARS my daughter a teenager now so i decided to go back school and get my RN license and here i am! Thank God!

I am a very caring person I raised 3 wonderful children adults now . I work in a care home now I work wirh 6 persons with different disabilities . I love that I can make a difference in their life cause I am there to care for their needs . I have a lot of patience. what makes me a great care giver is that I have a lot of patience and love for the person I take care of and my personality well sometimes shy but in a good nice way and a good listener for who need to tell me anything they like. .

I have over ten years of experience in caregiving, I'm also a registered RBT I hold my CPR and first aide license. I'm also fully vaccinated and I have a lot of skills in the medical field.

I started caregiving as a part of my nursing studies. From there I realized I love working with the elderly and reminded me of working with my Great Grandfather who had Dementia. I make it my goal to provide calming and safe care for all my clients.

CNAII I had to be orientated trained to each department of the hospital...Med Surge,ER ,ICU ,Neonatal , Respiratory, also hours of classroom. Education for each department. RNA is a Restoritive nurse I have been trained in physical therapy occupational therapy speech therapy In one of the wings I worked in. Activities assistant has given me the knowledge of what stimulation and how powerful it can be and healing. I have also been trained in massage therapy at one home I was able to educate myself with homeopathic therapy I have a capability to adapt to each client..I also have years of experience with Hospice care. I find that in home care is where I can give all my attention to just you.. and I love that that. My greatest accomplishment being as a caregiver, i work hard and am proud that my dedication to leadership coursework paid off. Knowing their family appreciates my help, kindness and entrust when i leave with their precious ones. Telling me and thanking me that i did a great job. My job includes preparing meals, laundry, light housekeeping, medication, bathing, dessing, grooming and feeding.
