I have been a caregiver for over 40 years. I started very young. I Have worked in the medical field for many years. I was a medical assistant, Experience includes Radiology, Phlebotomy. I have worked in hospitals as well as privately as a caregiver. I speak 2 other languages , Spanish and Italian. I have knowledge of medications, first aid and CPR. I am experience in caring for people with Cancer,, Alzheimer, Parkinson, kidney dialysis, liver transplant Heart attacks, stoke, neuropathy diabetes, hypertension, and patients in hospice.

That's make me a great Caregiver is because I'm a patient person, loving and caring. And I become a caregiver because I Felt like I'm taking care of my own parent or grand parents . I do like being a caregiver because of my passion for the elderly people . I also have a 19 years experience in this caretakers field with all different types of peoples

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I have a passion for caring for others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way because if I could still help my grandparents now with the experience I have now I would feel much better.

Caregiving is a very personal job, still I find ways to incorporate love, humor, cheerfulness, fun, hope, trust and optimism into my care. I look forward to building a close relationship with my clients as well as their family. I love that I get the opportunity to listen and learn about thier lives as it allows me to live vicariously through their many adventures, life accomplishments and travels. I find capturing their legacy most fascinating...respecting their dignity. Lastly and most importantly, meeting them when/where they need it most in their life's journey... be it a speedy recovery or their final chapter in the book of life.

I understand that a lot of trust, respect and care is what caregiving is all about. I'm a culinary trained cook, so I can pretty much create whatever is desired and/ or craved. I've always had a heart for caring for others. It is such a wonderful feeling knowing I can be of help to those of need. I have 10yrs of experience in the medical field. I've started with helping my grandmother as a little girl such as brushing her hair on a daily, picking out her clothes, to then giving her, her medications. I cared for several other family members until I decided to then move on to working in a doctor's office as a medical/billing assistant which included me rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting the doctor's, submitting billing, and most importantly building friendly and trusting relationships. I'm now in the field working one on one with individual clients, being able to give my full undivided attention to make sure I care for all needs required as well as giving that security and confidence that they are in good hands.
