I am a great caregiver because I will treat each person I care for with dignity, respect and kindness. I am responsible and dedicated to this line of work. I will help with maintaining a clean and comfortable as well as safe environment. I try to improve quality of life through adaptive progressive strategies. what attracted me to become a caregiver was helping to care for my grandmother and my mother, it made me feel good to be able to help them. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is bringing a smile on my clients face. A personal achievement I have is seeing a client get better after I care for them.

My name is Gayle Lusk but I go by "Lisa", I have lived in Auberry for many years and very proud of my community. I am a compassionate and caring person. My main priority is to my clients. I have been taking care of the elderly, special needs, adults & children for over 30 years. I have a big heart and I always make my clients very happy. The best part of caring for someone is seeing them laugh and enjoying my time with them. I have worked for Foothill Elementary School since 2019 and I enjoy working with the children and watching them grow. I prefer not to work weekends but in a pinch, I would. I'm 42yrs old I been caregiving for over 10 yrs I live in clovis single no kids I've worked in group homes assisted living at peoples homes done adult day programs I also did non-emergency medical transportation I've done it all.

I am a Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Home Health Aide CNA/HHA. I currently work at a local Hospice agency as a Hospice Aide. I am looking for extra hours to fill up my week. I am compassionate about the work I do and treat every client with dignity and respect.

My personality traits consist of: being confident, easy to talk to, trust worthy, loyal, witty, outgoing, determine, comforting, dedicated, claim under pressure. I believe that all of these traits make me a better team player and a great caregiver. What attracted me to be a great caregiver is in my life many tragic events have occurred. I believe it's what made me who I am today. The first event hit close to home, my grandpa was in the intensive care and I was there with him we'll he was passing away. before he pasted away he told me I would make an excellent caregiver. Another event happened, were a costumer had multiple seizers and I was able to have asses the situation calmly and productively. he received great medial care as I waited for the ambulance to arrive. I helped to the best of my ability. later on he came back one week later, to the store fully recovered and thanked me for helping; to save his life. I knew then that being in the medical was my calling. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is taking care of people and being to help them in there time and need. A personal achievement that I am so proud of is graduating Sanger high school with my certify Nursing Assist License, with my CPR license as well.

People have always told me if I ever get sick I would want you to take care of me Kerri. I've been an oncology Mom, learned a lot. I've always been a likable person especially by the elderly, and the children. I'm honest and reliable. When I was 19 I got my CNA certificate and I realized that my passion was helping others especially senior citizens. I ran a child care for six years from 1994 until 2000. I worked for the county of San Luis Obispo as an addiction specialist through my internship for college and was hired as a paid intern at the same time I was also a caregiver. My last client I cared for had a tube feeding and ended up going into a senior home in September I've worked with a quadriplegic and I've worked for hospice care, palliative care, and I've also worked in facilities in the beginning of my licensing but ended up going independently through a referral service for home care in 2008. I feel Home Care is a better quality of care and because of that I became an independent contractor.
