I am a very compassionate person. I like to laugh and pepole tend to be very comfortable around me. I'm easy going, a hard worker , dependable and enjoy meeting new people . I love working in this field it provides so much joy to help others. I love being able to come alongside families and help them . I value the relationships I build along the way. My goal with my families is to allow them to be completely themselves, to help them in the areas they need help and to do things the way they want it done. It's a honor to be able to help and I am grateful to be invited into homes and allowed the opportunity to do so. I'm a natural caregiver I've done it throught my life with everyone I meet I find out what there needs are and then find ways to help in some way. A major accomplishment in my life would be my two boys . My oldest is 23 and he is off to a great start in life . my youngest is 12, both my boys are respectful and caring guys with huge hearts always doing what they can for pepole. I am a open minded, emphatic, and understanding individual who is reliable. I have worked in child welfare. When I left the career, I brought one of my clients home to provide him with daily living services until he graduated high school and went off to college. I was a behavioral health case manager for individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses. I assisted them 8n the areas of housing, finances, mental health, chemical dependency and social supports. During my college years, I worked as a caregiver for Home Instead. The agency allowed our Senior Clients to remain in their home while in recovery or simply struggling with various psychological and or physical disabilities. I love most to help individuals in what area they may need assistance in. A personal achievement I am most proud of is gaining a B.A. while being a single parent.

I'm a very caring, passionate, devoted person that enjoys helping individuals with day to day living needs. I currently work in a long term/rehab facility in which I work with all different ages more geriatric patients with many different diagnosis. I have experience with Dementia patients as well.

Being respectful to the client and the clients family and being respectful to their wishes My mom attracted me to be a caregiver she would take me to work and I would become good friends with the clients and their family Just being with the clients and hearing their stories and just able to help the clients and being able to be company to the clients and able to interact with the client. The achievement that I'm most proud of is that I have become a great caregiver to the elderly and love doing my job with the elderly just being with them is enjoyable.
