I have cared for my husband who was handicapped for seven years before his death in 2011. I have friends and acquaintances who have health problems, mental and physical, whom I look in on with a phone call or a personal visit. I enjoy being a caregiver because it makes me happy to make someone else happy.

My greatest trait as a care caregiver is how big my heart is. I say this because I offer so much love to every person I meet! I wanted to be a caregiver because I love to see people happy and properly cared for at all times! One of my biggest achievements in my eyes would be being able to make the hardest of people smile!

Im newly certified BUT have 2 years and a half experience and looking to switch to in home care for more flexibility since I'll be going back to school soon for phlebotomy next. I currently work at a hospital as a healthcare technician in the Emergency Department. I'm CPR/BLS certified. I am a mandatory reporter for both adult and child abuse/ neglect. I'm fully vaccinated for COVID as well as the Flu shot. I can help out with mostly about anything. Preparing food, cleaning/housekeeping, helping with medication, personal cares, exercising or even a championship. I can even help with pets such as dog and cats if we'll behaved. I also have full coverage insurance so I can assist with driving and errand runs with no issues. I can provide certain documents for all of these things and certifications if needed. Growing up, I enjoyed helping around house, doing little chores like talking the trash out, washing the dishes, warm food up, and also helping my mom with baby sitting my younger siblings. As soon as I was able to work, at the age of 14 in Ireland, I got a summer job, helping a lady in her 90s with her laundry, I felt proud of myself, this lead to me getting a community award. When I moved to America at the age of 17, I got my CNA and , every since then I have worked in the medical field which I love and enjoy so much. Taking care, and helping a person in need with there daily activities has been a trait I enjoy doing, I treat others the way I would love to be treated.

Hello my name is Ashyia , im 21 years old and I've been preforming this job for about 5 years in counting. Something that attracted me to being a caregiver was my grandmother being diagnosed with cancer and be stepping up to take care of her. The main thing that I love about doing this type of work is being that clients grow so close to you when they feel comfortable. Seeing them become comfortable in their everyday lives fills my heart with joy , seeing them happy about everything they accomplish is another thing that I enjoy seeing.
