Hi my name is Lorpuwilliams, I'm from Africa and I been living here for 11 years. I love doing this job because I get to meet new people and help people. I believe in this world we all need each other and putting smile on my clients faces.

I have been working in the health care field as a caregiver and as aCNA and MEDAID for as long as 10 years and plus I love knowing that older folks also have someone who care to know and listing to them Because of them do not have family and I like to think of my self as part of their family and I provide them with care availability and good conversations and make them feel like family and help them forget about anything that worries them I have always love taking care of people since the age of 10 I start by doing babysitting job to care giving and then went to school to become an LPN and now going for my RN I am proud of being able to be going to school for thing I love to do the most in the world which is taking care of people

I am very patient, I love to sit and socialize with the patients. I love to hear about their back ground and their religion and how they grew up. I am good under pressure. I am caring. I am on time.

I enjoy forming bonds with individuals and truly care for my clients. My goal is to help improve the lives of others every day. I am proud to have 15 years of experience as a caregiver, and look forward to many more.

I'm Audrey Foster. Im soon to be 19 years old. I have my CNA certificate and have worked in multiple care facilities as well as working in at home care. I take the responsibility of caring, helping and assisting others as something very serious. I think it's a beautiful thing to be able to help out others who need and are willing to ask for my help. I have managed to have the privilege to work with some individuals with chronic illness, mental illnesses, aging factors like dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and many more.

I'm also doing pre-requsite courses in nursing at Des Moines Area Comm. College.

I became a caregiver because I l like nothing more than to help anyone and everyone out in anyway, shape, or form. To make a person smile and be happy is the greatest feeling to me, knowing that I made someones day/night helps me to sleep good with a smile on my face as well. I use to be so scared to even step one into a nursing home that was up until I got my first job at 17 being a dietary aid in the kitchen at a nursing home, and now I wouldn't change my career for anything. I can actually say that I am really good with families and getting along with anyone and everyone. The families that are involved in their loved ones life is also a big part of this type of career so making the family happy as well is very important to me. I have been in the healthcare field of work the 8 years I have worked and mainly just worked in the nursing home environment but I have also worked as a Direct Support Professional for an in home care facility. I would not go back and change my job and or wouldn't change the type of work I do for anything. Happiness is home made and care comes from the heart.
