I have over 10 years of caregiver experience. I started off as a caregiver to make extra money then I fell in love with the job and the people I care for. Now I'm a full-time caregiver going to school to open my very own elderly day center.

I am compassionate about filling my day with positivity. I am dedicated highly motivated and always willing to lend a helping hand. Being a caregiver is rewarding when you can bring a smile to someone face just by showing small kindness. My goal is at the end of the day that someone's day is better then yesterday.

Clients realize I'm their priority I'm there to help with DAL's while allowing them to be in charge. After my assistance with bathing and grooming the client easily picks out clothing for the day ahead. I prepare meals and remind clients to take medication if needed. I make sure a nutritious breakfast is served . They love reminders of family. Viewing family pictures and things in their home that makes it a home again. Clients love when we go for walks to get exercise rather in a wheel chair or walker. Range of motion exercises helps keep the body moving and agile. I'm just their to make them sure of themselves again.

I am a mom of two and an elementary teacher. I am a caring and compassionate person. I enjoy caregiving because I love to help others and believe in humanity.

I love to be able to help others from young to older, did it half of my life. I live in hammond,indiana with my husband and dog. I Enjoy adventures and family time. Being hands on with a person everyday or week you become close and understand them. I have the patience, awareness of my surroundings, fast actions and enjoy helping others. If I don't know what to do I'll look it up or ask lots of questions. I been taking care of my dad for the last 8 years, every Tuesday I take him to his doctor appointments and I also do housekeeping every Friday mornings for the last 2 years. Hello I am a longtime caregiver, health aid, dsp, pca, and stna! recently moved back home with my parents to help care for them as well with daily life living!! I love my job and I have been interested in the medical field since a young girl even taking the health program my 4 yrs of high school at a career technical school!! I'm very passionate about my career; I am proud of my other achievements as well like being a cosmologist and also a front and back of the house cook before dappling in the culinary field. I have work beside a couple a chefs and learn a lot along the way! I love to cook it's my most favorite hobby I enjoy! Also I love music mostly all genres and to read! I like to do puzzles and watch a good movie/show when I can!! Hello there to all my future loved ones, I would like to thank you for taking the time out to find out more about me as a person, my capabilities, skills, experiences, compassion & Love I have when being there for the ones you love. Finding the right person to tend to your loved ones can be a bit challenging & difficult at times trust me I understand & get it. As a Caregiver I take that title very seriously which means being able to give and provide the best care possible. The word speaks for its self, being able to care for people, give the help, care, assistance & guidance to those in need. Little background: Fresh out of high school my background career wise was in healthcare/medical. Growing up I would always have a soft spot and always tried to be a help in hand to not just those in need or look like they where in need but especially to all my elders or those older then me. I was always taught to respect my elders and if I see some one needing help then be there and help assist even if some choose not to except that help....a help in hand to people is the best feeling ever knowing your capable to help them. Ive always had the heart, the compassion, the care and love for people in general which to me is a great feeling and something I love and feel good about at the end of the day. I look at it as being able to count my blessings one day if u no what I mean) Believe it or not, I truly look at it as if and thinking that one day I'm going to have to get older as well and may need that same help though and hopefully I would have or get the same kindness from others as well. Being that my background was in the medical field and working at several doctors offices having to work with patients day to day actually guided me into becoming a caregiver because ive always had the love, the compassion, just having the willing to help someone just because, and sometimes just having the patience with them because being able to have patience is EVERYTHING

I have 13 years experience as a Cna and 20 years experience in the healthcare field. The reason I decided to become a caregiver is because of my grandmother, she turned I'll around 2003 and I stepped in to help take care of her. I think being a caregiver is my calling and something that I love and enjoy doing.

I love with people and making them happy. By doing a good deed for people it makes them feel better not only about themselves but I feel good as well. Helping people is something I love to do, which has led me to currently working as a caregiver and furthering my career in the future as a nurse.
