Passionate, reliable and dependable . 8 years of experience in this field caring for patients with MS, Dementia, Alzheimer, stroke, cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, respiratory disease, diabetes, fall risk, depression. And hospice care. My responsibilities were, transportation of patients to doctors appointment, bathing and dressing them up, companionship, making beds, doing laundry remind or give medicine to patients, check vital signs or apply lotion to dry skin areas, change bandage, light house cleaning, am able to lift my clients, transfer them in and out of wheelchair to their beds. I can also manage using a Hoyer lift. I have excellent communication skills guided by good relationship with clients, strong work ethics since am dedicated to getting the job done, positive attitude, time management abilities, self confidence, ability to accept and learn from criticism, flexible and l love my job and very hardworking. My personality traits are caring, funny, determined and helpful I have always taken care of people with disabilities, old and or mental health issues and substance abuse as well. I was born to be a caregiver that's all I see myself doing. I love it..it may get hard at times but I love the work and the people. I have been doing Home care/Assisted Living for on and off about 10 years, I did Home care before I went to college to get my certification for home health aide and have been working in assisted living since 2013, I just recently went back to home care. I love the one on one interaction and love helping others in their own home so they feel more confident and comfortable. I have memory care experience also.

I have become, what I consider myself to be, an amazing caregiver. I have a huge heart and i tend to put everyone I care for above and beyond everything else. I listen carefully to peoples needs as well as wants and do my very best to provide what is expected by them or the families NO QUESTION. I decided I wanted to be a caregiver at a young age. My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and everyone in my family brushed it off as just 'old age'. Well, I wanted to learn more about this dementia and see what I could do to help better her life and the lives of others in this predicament.
