I'm pretty friendly and I like to help people which drawn me to choosing my career path in the medical field. What attracted me to being caregiver is be able to help patients at the comfort at their own home and getting to know them better. I was raised by my grandparents all the way up till high school. While living with them they instilled countless of values and morales. Which is why upon graduating with my B.S. from Houston Christian Univeristy, I returned home to look after them. Through them and my professional experience i've learned tremendous patience and how to properly address and handle any situation a care giver may experience. I was officially hired as my grandfathers provider through the VA when he reached 100% disability until his passing at 102. I have since worked for two other home care agencies, and have over 2 years of experience professionally. I am also sponsored by Project Arriba, while I complete a 2-year Echocardiography program at EPCC. I can say with confidence I am able to effectively and superbly perform any task as a caregiver and provide exceptional customer service.

Hi, my name is Lizbeth Mickelsen. Married and have 2 beautiful boys 9 and 12 yrs old. My personality is kind and self giving, like to know the person and not judge a book by its cover. I became a CNA because I like to treat others as I would like them to treat me when I am sick. I enjoyed listening their interesting stories and life challenges they had to face, also knowing that I am making a difference in their life to ease their pain.

I am a very great listener and I am also very aware of what's going on as well as my surroundings. I've been caregiving for 3 years and I love the ability to help people and help people live normal lives. I enjoy the ability to help people live as normal lives as possible and give people the hospitality.

I have been a cna/caregiver for over 30 years, I started at the age of 17 I knew I wanted to help people our elderly population I love what I do and am a loyal compassionate caregiver.
