My name is Melony. I have 12+ years experience in caregiving. I have worked home health and facility care. Both Assisted Living and Memory Care. During these years I have had the privilege of caring for some outstanding seniors. Some of whom needed minimal care, such as companionship. Just someone to simply be there and be a friend. Which I am always happy to do. I have also cared for seniors who needed much more. My experience with dementia and Alzheimer's is extensive. I understand the importance of safety during such a confusing time in their lives. Throughout my career I have taken every opportunity to learn how to comfort and calm the uncertainty they live with on a daily basis. I can offer activities and exercises to set their mind at ease and give them something positive to focus on. I will gladly help keep things tidy, prepare yummy meals, help with bathing/dressing, ambulation, medication reminders and more and can discuss a care plan that works best for your family.

Been a care giver 3years love helping people

My very first actual job was a CNA and I knew right away that it was the profession for me! I've always tried being the very best at treating others how it'd like to be treated! I look at each and every person I've ever cared for as if they were my own family and still keep in touch with many of them. I've always enjoyed helping people and making they're day easier and more enjoyable!

I have 3 years of caregiver experience never had a participant I did not like my supervisor Jane Morgan said patients take to me fast I can give you family references that I have served . Nothing attracted me to caregiving I just thought I would try it and I have like it since . Helping people is what I like most about caregiving .Personal achievement is reaching patients that other people can't and I have done it just by listening and being sensitive to their needs.

What made me to be a caregiver was being able to help and take care of people. I enjoy meeting new people and helping new people out. Im proud of being able to help people who need it.

I'm so happy to be able to help seniors on a daily basis with all their needs and companionship. Hello, The reason why I love being a caregiver is helping the ones that are down and bringing them back up. I love putting a smile on their face when they are having a bad day, also just being able to make a difference in the world and helping families know their loved ones are in good hands. I also want to further educate myself by getting my CNA one day.

I have worked as a CNA-HHA for over 20 years, first through various agencies and then on my own as a private duty caregiver until I started my own home care agency. I worked well with mostly the elderly and Alzheimer and dementia patients. The benefits I receive from caregiving are numerous. I truly enjoy helping people and feeling needed and appreciated by them. I enjoy interacting with the families and working together to develop care plans and meet challenges associated with the job. One of the things I'm most proud of is being able to give the clients and their families peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are comfortable and well-cared for.
