I became a caregiver due to the fact my grandparents who both raised me both passed away in nursing homes. After I saw the care and how they were being treated, I made the decision to become a nurse assistant so I could possibly make a difference. I feel as though I have, I love what I do and couldn't see myself doing anything else. I'm a very compassionate person with a big heart and I truly enjoy helping others. I'm a good talker but a better listener and will do anything to make sure my patient is comfortable and taken care of emotional, physically, and personally. This is my calling and I have enjoyed these last 11 years doing this.

Loving people makes me a great caregiver because love is an action word. I became a caregiver because I love caring for those not thought of. My greatest accomplishment was learning to love in spite of and getting vaccinated.

My name is April. I've been a caregiver for a little over twenty years. Taking care of others is a real passion for me. I treat my patients how I want to be treated when it's my time. When I'm with my patient they receive my full attention if that means sitting and just listening to their stories or holding their hand and calming their fears. As an individual who spent her early years in a civil war, it was seriously sad to see people who were affected badly and had no one to care for them. Due to my passion for humanity, I found myself voluntarily helping victims in anyway I could as encountered them. After my transition to the US due to the war, I knew that caregiving was a part of me and decided to spent my career life doing that. As a care giver, it gives me nothing less that joy and excitement to know that I can be there for an individual during their most critical time of need and that I can also be a part of the team who nurture them back to recovery/health. I'm proud to say that I've worked with multiple clients who has successfully recovered fully as well as clients who has not. But again, such is life.

I have been a caregiver for over ten years. It has been a very rewarding career for me. I enjoy helping people. My goal is to be able to keep your loved one happy and healthy while allowing them the independence of staying in their own home. Greetings and I hope all is well here is a little bit about me I've worked with seniors for a little while now privately as well as providing art services at nursing homes. What really got me into caregiving was the passing of my own grandmother, by me living out of town I never got to spend those last days with her which left me in great pain. That is why I started seeing what I can do to help out in the senior community. I cook I do light cleaning such as laundry, dishes, lining changes etc. I have other services that I offer as well I have my cosmetologist license, I offer manicures pedicures and haircuts, I do art classes and I'm also a licensed security officer so I'm trained see any danger coming if we happen to be on a outing. To me it's more then a job and honestly I just believe in treating people the way I would like to be treated or the way I would want someone to treat My love ones A person's character isn't built off of what they do when everyone is looking but more about what they do when no one is around I hope this was informational have a blessed day
