Caregiver for over 3-4 years. I have worked in healthcare field for 8 years in and out of hospital facilities as a contracted surgical tech. My main concern is giving care to the families loved ones and help ease the day. I do have expat with hospice, nursing homes, Alzheimer, dementia and many other medical conditions.

Hello my name is Rachel. I recently just moved to the Knoxville area from Sarasota Florida. I've been a caregiver for 10 years. I love being a caregiver and helping bring happiness to someone's life. I'm skilled in most everything non-medically related. I can help with transporting to Doctors, cooking, laundry, bathing, exercising, light house cleaning, companionship, I know how to use a Hoyer lift. Of course I can transfer with gaitbelt (as needed). I treat all my clients like family as that is how I got into doing this type of profession. I took care of my grandparents in hospital beds inside our living room for years up until their very last breath. I take that same type of compassion with me to every clients house I go to. Hey everyone! My names Taylor, I am a family oriented guy. What brought me to want to be a caregiver is that it gives a chance to make a difference in the client and the family as well. Making a difference is one of my traits. I just love to have a good connection with the one I am caring for. The most part I like about being a caregiver is that you get to help people who are in need. Once, I start helping with the family. I get this sensation of happiness that warms my heart knowing that I am doing this with a purpose m. My purpose that I found was to lift each other up through the good and the bad days. The number one thing I love about being a care giver is that I get to help and get clients feeling good and happy by doing different things with them. Empathy and compassion is what makes me a great caregiver. I started off at 16 years old taking care of my grandpa. Making sure he take his medicine, bath, and read him versus out of his bible. As I got older I knew this is what I wanted to do I want to help the elderly patients that can no longer do much for themselves. It's essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion, caregivers will let the person know that they care about them and want to do what they can to help and that's what keeps me consistent. I love to keep clients smiling and talking. I received my CNA license and went to school to study for my degree in Medical Administration Assistant of Applied Science.
