As so my mom took over and I went to Cali to take on my dream full time .. I have worked with asl patients , Quadriplegic , dementia, Alzheimer's, mental health as well as kids . I started off with independent care and later moving on to facilities as well as obtaining my med tech . Later on had to go back to take care of my grandfather and mom who recently passed away now I take care of my mom and moved her out to live with me in Escondido . I have been a caregiver for over 40 years. I started very young. I Have worked in the medical field for many years. I was a medical assistant, Experience includes Radiology, Phlebotomy. I have worked in hospitals as well as privately as a caregiver. I speak 2 other languages , Spanish and Italian. I have knowledge of medications, first aid and CPR. I am experience in caring for people with Cancer,, Alzheimer, Parkinson, kidney dialysis, liver transplant Heart attacks, stoke, neuropathy diabetes, hypertension, and patients in hospice.

I was caregiver for 24years. All those years it's my independence years . I worked at the hospital, state licensed home, private home caregiver. I am extremely dependable and a hard worker. I have 2, 5 years of experience working with Dementia/Alzheimer's and lime disease, 10 years with Parkinson's disease patients in a facility setting (private homes too). My responsibilities assisting person with all activities of daily living, light housekeeping duties, cooking, feeding, bathing-dressing, companionship, transportation, errands-shopping, medication prompting....

I have been a senior companion for over 10 years. When I work with seniors, I take it very personal to see them satisfied and happy. I tune in with their personalities and preferences, and adjust our activities according to what they enjoy, what empowers them and what keeps their emotional, mental and health condition as good as possible. I am flexible, and adjust easily to what my clients need. I become their best friend and feel like a family. We have fun, stay safe and healthy. Caring for an elder person is a very personal business and their quality of life and health depend on it. I saved lives, made lives better and always have my client's best in heart. My career as a senior companion happened very naturally and holistically. It didn't start as a career but as a neighbor helping neighbor and friend helping friend. Helping "straight from my heart", with my natural tendency to be there for people in need, became a profession as a natural progression of what I love to do and what I am good at. So far all my clients have been very happy with my service and I am looking forward to helping you.

I bacame a caregiver because I like to help people and also to meet new people. You learn something new everyday. I like that you get to spend one on one time with a person and to get to know them more. I enjoy what I do, I am also cpr/first aid certified and recently bcame a DSP. I am very patient, friendly, caring, and fun to get along with and very easy going.
