I have been a caregiver 40 years. Always had a good repore with elderly growing up. Being there to help a loved one played a major roll in my job. I've worked in Assisted living facilities, Nursing homes and absolutely love it. I've used machinery like hoyer lifts, and other things. I'd prefer to stay away from that and heavy lifting. I also had my own assisted living years ago in upstate Ny.. I'm very experienced and I make it my buisness to be punctual and dependable. I take pride in my skills and I do my very best at all times. I have 30 years of experience in providing personal in-home care for disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and hospice patients. I assist patients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. I monitor patients' vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. I am a thoughtful and considerate person who takes pride in providing the best care possible. I became a caregiver through the influence of my great aunt and grandmother as they were the neighborhood caregivers. I watched them as a child and knew I wanted to do the same thing. I began by taking care of my grandmother when she became home bound in her older age. For the past three years, I was the care taker for my mother after she suffered a stroke. The thing I enjoy the most is feeling a sense of joy and humility in assisting those in need in conducting their activities of daily living. They are so appreciative. I enjoy working with people and I most enjoy jobs where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of my elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel I can get along well with a variety of elders. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I like doing a variety of tasks in a day. I don't ever say, "That's not my job" but instead like pitching in to do whatever is needed. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in attending to detail.

The client is my first priority. I am truthful,loyal,punctual and patient. I have worked with the elderly for over 10years. i enjoy each moment we share, especially when they share their old times stories about their lives. my clients are like my family, I enjoy making my clients happy
