I became a certified nursing assistant in May of 2000. I have worked in many specialties in the healthcare field which consists of med-surg, telemetry,Icu,Brain and Injury, Rehab and Pacu. I also worked in Hospice, and home health for 15 years. I am currently working towards Nursing degree.

What makes me a great caregiver is excellent communication skills, I'm compassionate, dependable and trustworthy. What attracts me to being a caregiver is I'm fulfiled when I see the patients back to their feet. I enjoy assisting patients with their daily activities and what they cannot do by themselves. My achievements are passion for helping others, a willing and flexible nature, willingness to listen and a great communication skill.

My best traits as a caregiver is being patience,compassion, attentive, dependable, reliable, flexible, trustworthy. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one on one interaction with others. I also like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. The thing I like the most being a caregiver is making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I have an experience working in Healthcare fields such as Nursing homes and Home health care. Helping others getting the care they need and seeing their satisfaction gives me a joy. I like spending time with my clients and be there for them throughout my care. I worked with different kinds of clients with different situations which helped me improve my skills. I love taking care of my residents and clients and I am always proud of it.

I have always been more mature for my age. I grew up as an only child, only hanging around adults. I have always had a caring personality and when I was 18 after I graduated high school I started working as a CNA at an adult day care, caring for geriatrics with dementia. I fell in love with them. They may not be able to remember your name or their own name but they can tell you stories about their childhood that bring warmth to your heart. I am very good at caring for geriatrics, making them feel comfortable in embarrassing situations for them (bathing, changing soiled linen) because they still deserve dignity and respect which I make sure they know they have the upmost respect. Some geriatric patients have a hard time with caregiving because they have literally give up every ounce of independence they used to have which is hard to cope with. My personality is very smiley and happy around geriatrics which makes them feel better. I also have a very loud voice which is an advantage with geriatrics since most are hard of hearing, they can hear me because I tend to speak loudly. I am an RN however I love being a caregiver too. I am very good at caring for people, making them feel comfortable, I am very easy to talk to and educating on medical information also.

I am very reliable, patient and creative .Personally, I'm an organizer, planner, and multitasker, so minimum supervision is required. With all my skills and experience, I'm able to provide a supervised, safe, and stable environment for your little ones.
