As an STNA I am trained and have experience in assisting patients with their activities of daily living. These activities often include restroom assistance, bathing and dressing, hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and more. I am open and willing to working with all ages.

What makes me a great caregiver, is that im so open harted. I love to sit and listen to story or be out doing things. Iv been a caregiver for 8 years. I worked in Hospital, nursing homes. Id have to say home care is my favorite. Home care is slow pace. I get to enjoy my job and clients. I love being hands on or just talking.

I love making others lives happier and easier. I became a caregiver to be able to improve the quality of living for our elderly. My clients in the past have loved our conversations and much as I did. I became a caregiver at a young age by request but as I got older it was done by choice. Caring for the elderly gives me satisfaction knowing that I can help people in a personal way. I love making people laugh. It's my way of adding sunshine to their lives. Several seniors I have cared for were not excited at all about having someone to come in to sit and to care for them but it took a short while for them to look forward to my arrival and they hated to see me leave. I have cared for people of all age groups. I have worked exclusively for the elderly the past few years. I have been a great companion to them all! I'm very caring, I work long hours if needed and I'm willing to do just about whatever it takes for those in my care to have a very meaningful experience! I do med reminders, incontinence care, meal preparations, and to stay busy, I will clean! I love what I do and have always done more than what was asked. My main objective with care is to help the family members of those in my care feel they can live their lives without worrying about their loved one in my care. They can feel confident that their loved one is in good hands! Those I have experience with had Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and I have cared for a quadriplegic!
