7 years ago I started out by being a caregiver for my grandmother. She had a stroke and needed help getting around the house. Since then I've been working with others to help make their living easy. I've worked with people who have dementia. I enjoy helping others out . Especially to the ones who really need it. I worked at a memory care and assisting living facility for 6 years. I'm now looking for one on one care . I hope I can make you and your loves one life easier. I work full time but I'm free early mornings. Looking for a minimum of 15 hrs a week.Katy area ONLY.

I became a caregiver by accident, my mother lost her memory with little warning, (she was handing her own affairs well and within a few days she was incapable of managing her own affairs), and soon after lost her ability to walk, at the time I was unemployed and so became a caregiver. In spite of not having given this line of work any previous consideration. Becoming a caregiver for people outside my family acquainted me with how other people lived. My interest has always been people and spending a considerable amount of time in homes, allows me insights that other jobs don't give. Hello I am a nursing student and a Certified Medical Assistant/ Certified Nursing Assistant of 10 plus years. I have a passion for caring for elderly adults and adults with special needs since my teenage years. I'm most proud when I have my clients/ patients thank me for a job well done. My patient's and clients often feel like I go the extra mile to make sure their needs are met, however, to me its just my way of giving my clients/patients high quality healthcare.
