I am a respectful and respecting lady. I love to care for the elderly as I want them to be happy, meet their basic needs, and be adjusted with their changes in health as life goes on. I have also seen that older people than myself like me. I did not have grandparents in my life, so I have a place for such elderly in my heart. Ever since I started visiting nursing homes and talking to them, I felt satisfied that I am meaningful to them and they enjoy my giving them company and sharing their thoughts. Am a patient , compassionate and deeply sympathetic caregiver whose main goal is to provide the utmost care to seniors in their twilight years . I find pleasure in serving seniors at the same l time l enjoy the connections l build and foster with the families.My most profound achievement is when l nursed a diabetic male widower back to health. Even though he sadly passed on 3 months later but l was happy he died without the affliction of being lonely all the time and he gifted a car for all the work l had done with him and for him .

It is not my favorite job, but I Really enjoy working with hospice. I am bubbly and friendly and get along well with most people. A lot of people are afraid of working with hospice, but I enjoy learning about them and their lives. I have also helped my own family die after taking them into my home. I really mean it when I say that I will treat them as my own family.

I am very well suited for the Field of Care Giving. I am a CNA. I am compassionate. I care very much about my Client's situation in life and want to do my best to help them cope and endure with their various health concerns. Also, I have more than 20 years in the care of others with various Ailments. I was attracted to this Field as a result of my Mother and Sisters involvement as well as my being a naturally caring person. I enjoy making a difference in the lives of my Clients. I look for opportunities to improve their care in whatever way I can. A couple of things I am very proud of is being able to understand and communicate successfully with a Client who is a Stroke Victim. Also, finding a solution to help relieve the severe irritation of a Client's scalp.

What made me want to be a caregiver and take care of people was being able to for connections and friendships with them. i was my grandmothers caregiver for 2 years before getting into the health care and being able to make help and care for someone brightened up my day! being that i'm a very personable person i find it very easy to connect with new people. Seeing that i have made someone's day a little bit easier is what makes being a caregiver worth it !

I sincerely enjoy filling in the gaps for members and their families and partnering with them in areas such as caregiving, companionship, accomplishing goal-oriented tasks around their homes and any needed errands outside of the home. The satisfaction of knowing and hearing from members and their families of what a difference the connection, assistance, and overall compassion that I provide warms my heart as I know that I am making a difference in not only their lives, but they are making a huge impact on mine as well. I often think of my grandparents and serve everyone as if they were my own family. Building trusted relationships, supporting, and assisting the aging/lifestyle needs of members holistically creates a stronger community for everyone.

What makes me a great caregiver first of all I have a big heart you have to have a heart for this job it's my passion I took care of my dad for many years until he passed away with Alzheimer's. I realize one day if I keep living I'll get to be a elderly person and I want somebody that's going care for me have patience with me. This will always be the job I do until I retire I love it wouldn't have it any other way

why i chose to become a caregiver is a thing that i love doing and is inline with my goal in life, been a caregiver helps, teaches and build you up in caring for people and even in home, my achievement is understanding how to communicate with people in need most especially with older adults.
