Ive been a caregiver the majority of my adult life...i was fortunate to have a husband who was the primary provider, allowing me to make a home for our family. Im a taditional wife and took complete care of our family. Im a clean housekeeper, anExcellent cook, and a nurturing is my passion. Im kind, and patient,and very compassionate. Im Cheerful and funny, there has never been a shortage of laughter in my home; i miss that now that my kids are grown.. I enjoy the little thing life has to offer...such as the sunrise or the dew on the roses in the morning, the cooing of a newborn baby or the stories told by the elderly.. i also do not shy away from household chores, i feel lkke the homes i work in better look cleaner when i leave ,than they do when i arrive...im not one to leave things undone. I provide personalized care for each client, working closely with family members to ensure the very best care for everyone. hi my name is Shawna, im a CNA who loves taking care of your loved ones like they are my own family. I've always knew i was going to work in health helping others. How I started out as a pca was, wanting to know how do care for my family when the times comes and what training do i need to make sure im ready for it. While being a caregiver to a variety of people ive awlays wanted them and the families to feel as if i was taking care of my loved ones. Being Professional, compassionate, having good communication, having empathy and patience, keeping a balanced schedule and staying up-to-date with training and just being there is what i strive for with each visit. i believe that you can always learn more each day is different and so is each visit. what i enjoy about being a caregiver is helping others when they need it the most,knowing that they are taken care like my own family when im with them. i proud to be continuing education so that i am able to provide more care to better help.
