I really enjoy helping people, I find it to be the most fulfilling thing you can do in life.

Somethings come naturally, and caring for children and the elderly seems natural for me. The years prior to my parents passing away, I worked a full time job and still helped take care of my parents. I spent weekend and evening with them. There were no regrets after they passed. What I enjoy the most about caregiving is the pleasure it gives the person I'm helping, and the good feeling I get assisting them. I know both my parents were proud, happy and relieved to be able to have stayed at home until they died. We are a close knit family and that is why I started helping my Aunt and a family friend once my parents passed and I became retired. My daughter is an RN and my son owns his own excavation company. I have six grandchildren, 5 girls and 1 boy. The boy was the last :) I live in a 4 tenement house that originally belonged to my grandparents, then my parents and now my brother owns it. 17yrs ago I moved back to Adams after living in California for 20 yrs. One of the apartments was available so I decided to not buy another house, and just live in the apartment next door to my parents. I had a baby monitor in my parents bedroom and in my bedroom so if they needed me during the night, they could just "yell", which my Mom did often because she could no longer walk on her own. Both my children live on the same street as I do, which makes it nice. I moved back to the Berkshires just in time to enjoy my parents last years before passing.

I live in Canaan New York with my beautiful family. We have a farm and enjoy being outside. I worked full time in business management until last year. I wanted to work direct with clients and make a difference in their lives.

I've been in the care giving field for 10 plus years, and enjoy it. I enjoy helping others, and making a difference in people lives. I'm a compassionate caring person, and I'm kind and patient with my clients. I first started in caregiving when I was a freshman in high school, and voulentered at a nursing home. I also took care of a family member for many years. I got my CNA certification shortly after, and have been doing home care ever sense. I look forward to continuing my career in this field.

I've been caretaking once I was 12. Mostly babies and toddlers but I'd like to expand my horizons to see if nursing is something I would like to do. I will do everything In my favor to relieve all necessary tasks. I absolutly love helping people and I want to body to feel inconvenient because that's what I am here for!

I have been a caregiver for the past 9 years. I absolutely love it. I find helping other people rewarding. When I was young my grandmother had Multiple Sclerosis and I would help her home health aides with her stretches and transfers. Theyou helped my grandmother have a happy and active life. I am a recent graduate with my BS in Biology. I am planning on attending graduate school in roughly 5 years and am looking for a job that is personally rewarding such as helping individuals who can no longer care for themselves. I have experience as both a certified nursing assistant and a personal care assistant. In addition I have experience caring for my ailing grandparents in their last years of life. My course of study included anatomy and physiology, immunology and many other medically based courses which uniquely enable me to have a knowledge base in providing care that other may not have.
