Hello My name is Loretta, Some of my personality trait or expertise that help me be a Great Caregiver are: I am a people person, enjoy working and helping people of all ages. This has been my dream of working in the medical field since I was young. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, Dr. Office and cared for people in their homes over 30 years. What attracted me to this field was I use to go to work with my mother when I was in Jr. High School caring for patient in a nursing home, and the Private clients in their homes. Being patient means that the person understands that there may be changes in plans, things may not go as quickly as planned, and there may be a little hesitation at times on the part of the person receiving care. someone has compassion for another they have an understanding of what the person is going through. Patients often forget to take their medicines or they forget which ones to take, so it's the caregiver's job to make sure that she or he is drinking the right medicine at the right time. I have been a CNA since 2018. I have experienced alot of trials and tribulations in this job, but its something that I love. Taking care of the elderly is the field I am ment to be in, thats why I have decided to further my education in Nursing. I am a young mother of three, and my kids are my world.
