After I was Honorably discharged from the Military, my best friend who was in the Marine Corps with me, was diagnosed with ALS. Spending time with his family and caretakers gave me a new found prospective on what I wanted to do as a career. They exemplified all of the personality traits that I've mentioned above and that's what I saw in myself. I enjoy making a difference in people's lives. The gratification from this is rewarding. Caring for 24 Individuals with various physical and mental health disabilities and being a role model, caregiver, big brother, and their Residential Director for 7 years. I am very proud to have served them and they will always hold a special place in my heart.

Hello, my name is Tyler Bush. I was a Nurse tech/aid at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital for 6 months back in May 2016. I was asked to be a live-in caregiver for a then 92 year old WWII veteran in December of 2016. I then went full time with his care on February 2017. I spent 2 amazing years care taking for an even better man. The experience is one I will always treasure. Caregiving is something I take pride in because everyone deserves to be in a place of comfort and feel like they are loved and appreciated. I want to give a family peace of mind and someone they can rely on to be accountable for their loved one's life.

I love making a difference in the life of elderly patients by providing acute care, companionship, and laughter! I have a reliable vehicle and can drive almost anywhere in OKC.

I enjoy helping the elderly. One of my favorite things to do for my own family is cook for them or bake. Helping the elderly i didnt get to help my grandmother like I would of liked too. Spending time, talking, listening to their stories, cooking them food and/or treats. Becoming a mother, taking care of my family.

I am originally from Wichita, KS. My Dad moved the family to California when I was 10 years old. After graduating from High School, I moved back to Wichita, KS and wanted to be a Nurse. I decided to take a CNA class to see if that is the kind of work I would be happy doing. I worked for 3 1/2 years. I loved taking care of all the patients. I got married and we moved to California. I was a stay at home Mom. I divorced and moved to Oklahoma 10 years ago. I worked for several different companies in OKC as a 24 hour live-in Caregiver. I have also done a several Private Positions as well. I love cooking and cleaning and helping Seniors to feel comfortable in their homes. As an active Senior myself, I know the needs of other Seniors. I would like to work 3 to 4 days a week. I will always be available for emergencies as I know they happen. I am dependable and responsible. I am willing to work 24 hour periods if requested. I am considering moving to Chickasha and I don't mind doing some traveling. With 20 miles or less would be fine with me. I am from California and that is normal for me. I need to be active and this is the best way to do it, by helping others. I am a patient out going person with over 20 years nursing experience. I'm skilled in many areas of nursing . My main focus has always been working with the elderly. I love helping and caring for them. I enjoy visiting with them and helping with ADLs. I'm healthy strong and have no disabilities. I feel I would be an asset to any family.

When I was around 14 years old, my great grandmother suffered from dementia. My family moved her into our home and took care of her until the end to avoid a nursing home. I have years of personal, family experience caring for seniors in the home environment as well as professional. I currently work part time for Visiting Angels. I am looking for more hours to help pay for me to earn my LPN through nursing school. I love being a caregiver and get a lot of satisfaction through my job. I am very patient and understanding.
