I have worked in the elder care field for 20 years. I love working with the elderly and being able to help them stay independent and in there homes for as long as possible. I used to grow up in a beautiful facility where I was with my mother while she worked. Then, at age 6 I knew I wanted to help people just as I watched her do. The relationships she grew with these people were beautiful and she knew she was needed. I became a caregiver at age 17. I studied and received my CNA certification and started working doing what I love. I love to help my residents do things that they fill they can not complete on their own. I have worked with many different types of people and know that patience and compassion are the two most helpful things when dealing with my residents.
