Im 31. I have 3 years of experience. I like being able to to help someone. With an agency we are given a list of tasks to accomplish. I like giving the client and option on how to run things in the time frame we have to some extent to meet your goals/things that need done. They don't like strangers telling them what to do so it gives them a bit of independence..while still being in control of the situation.

I became a care giver because I wanted to be closer to achieving my goal of being an LPN. My little brother has epilepsy and I like being aware of his physical state and helping him. I enjoy helping others and especially others that can't help themselves. I love seeing the appreciation of and smile on their faces from the jobs I've done. It is an extremely rewarding job. We are a military family. My husband is currently in the army and we love what he does. I am also a volunteer cheer commissioner for the loyalsock school district. I love working with all the kids and families. I have been in the health care field since 2010. I really enjoy helping others.

I've been a caregiver since the 70s. I started out as a blue bell to candy stripe. Then on on to care giver and EMT-D. I ran with the ambulance and fire department. I worked in hospitals and nursing homes in PA and NJ. I am now working as a unit clerk/caregiver/sitter at TCH, and private hire on the side. I love what I do. I enjoy being with people who need help that I can provide. They are family to me ,mother, brother, father or sister. I care for them as my family. I stay through it all, better times and bad times. Being a caregiver is very rewarding to me. I have been in health care my whole life. I did take time off to raise a family of 2 boys and 4 girls. while I was raising my family I also took in foster children, new born to teenager in MI and TN.
